Machines & Me is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities and providing an inclusive environment for our in-person seminars. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards under the Equality Act 2010.
2. Digital Accessibility Standards
We aim to ensure our website and digital materials (including PDFs) meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

Document Accessibility: We are currently reviewing our training PDFs to ensure they are compatible with screen-reading software. If you require a document in an alternative format (such as large print or plain text), please let us know.

Future Learning: As we expand into online courses, accessibility will be a core requirement in our platform selection and content design.
3. In-Person Seminars & Third-Party Venues
Our training takes place at a variety of external locations. While we do not own these facilities, we take the following steps to ensure your experience is seamless:

Venue Vetting: We request accessibility specifications from all venues before booking to ensure they provide step-free access and accessible toilets.

Reasonable Adjustments: If a venue presents an unforeseen barrier (e.g., a lift failure on the day), we will provide "reasonable adjustments." This may include moving the session to a ground-floor room, providing a 1-on-1 summary of missed content, or offering a full transfer/refund for the session.

Advance Notice: To help us support you, please notify us of any specific requirements (e.g., BSL interpretation or assistant seating) at least 14 days before your scheduled event.
4. Service Animals
We welcome assistance dogs at all our training events. We ask that you notify us in advance so we can ensure the venue provides adequate space and water for your dog.
5. Feedback & Contact
We are not perfect, and we welcome your feedback. If you encounter any barriers on our website or at an event, please contact us. We treat all accessibility feedback as a priority.
